Emory Maughan collaborated with Nike designers and the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital to create her very own Wmns Air Max 90 in December 2015. The then ten-year-old, diagnosed with stage 4 kidney failure, chose a bright color scheme for her exclusive 'DB' shoe. Maughan designed a Sasquatch-riding unicorn graphic along with the words 'I'm possible,' to emphasize her positive outlook. The timeless Air Max 90 shoe boasts a furry sock collar and Maughan's family member's names on the insole.
