The Nike women’s Air Force 1 Low ‘07 LV8 ‘Hangul Day’ gives the nod to the October 9 holiday that celebrates the creation of the Korean alphabet. Fittingly, Korean letters are embroidered on the toe box and quarter panel, constructed from off-white nylon and accented with scattered pops of color. Cream-colored leather is utilized on the sneaker’s leather overlays and signature Swoosh, the latter featuring contrast stitching in white, black, blue, yellow and red — the five colors of the traditional Korean color spectrum. The same hues are repeated on the Nike-branded tongue tag and webbing heel strip. The low-top is mounted on a pale yellow midsole and white rubber outsole.
